On the program this week we have a track from Paris-based flautist Daniela Mars entitled 'In the Sky' taken from a new album called 'Protected'. Known for her contrabass compositions, what makes this piece interesting is the absence of any noticable flute sound and instead, the track is a wonderfully blurred and ominous mood, highlighting Mars' versatility in creating ambient soundscapes. Magnifique! From Norway, ambient producer Erik Wøllo has just released an EP called 'Pandrone' via Projekt Records. The track 'Pandrone (ambient version)' is a cinematic piece with rolling synth lines and breathy instrumentation that takes the listener on a uplifting journey of sonic delight. Be sure to check it out. Spanish label Noray Records have just released a compilation album entitled 'Aunque llegue la mañana · Refracted' featuring a number of ambient musicians reinterpreting music from the 2025 album released by Raúl Cantizano & David Cordero. The track 'Cinco Duros' by Carlos Ferreira is a highlight that incorperates lower pitched pads and delicately placed soft guitar phrases. Wonderful.
