Moya Brennan, the lead singer and harp player of Clannad died this week, so it only seems fitting that this week's edition of ambient hour begins with their well-known track 'Theme From Harry's Game'. A new release of sorts came out this week by Melbourne-based Pheobe Dubar (aka IKSRE). Her 2025 albums 'Expansion a' and 'Expansion b' (which were similtaneously released last year), have been re-packaged into one single album simply called 'Expansions' via the Canadian label Imaginary North. The track 'Coober Pedy (pink dream)' features drones, gentle notes and birds chirping in the background. Wonderful stuff. Also recently released is a track by Tokyo-based Koji Ishikura called 'Slow Glimmer' via the Purre Goohn label. It's a blurry piece of mood that sits very well amongst the other tracks on this week's edition of ambient hour. Enjoy. Bye now.
