A number of new releases feature in this week's edition of ambient hour. Starting off the program is US-based Sebby Kowal and a soothing piece called 'Morning Zen'. Gentle bass movement and extended pads are highlighted from a new album called 'Distance' put out through rohs! records. Spanish artist Colleen has also just released a new album called 'Libres antes del final' via Thrill Jockey Records. The track featured is 'Mis armas se habían caído al suelo' and is a moody display of keys coloured by delayed notes and atmosphere. Carla dal Forno from Castlemaine, Australia has just dropped her new album 'Confession'. The closing track to the album is 'Staying In'...a combination of repeating notes and an accompanying field recording that sounds like a kettle coming to the boil and some gentle humming in the background.
