The Grand Grimoire
Running time - 60:36
For the most part, this week's edition of ambient hour is a bit of a deep dive into dark ambient textures and dungeon synth. The mood is tenebrous and at times, unnerving. Amongst the tracks are some new releases that are worth mentioning including a piece called 'Ember in the Void' by German-based producer Josua Karlson (aka Radagast). Released in February this year on an album entitled 'Yesta', the track features layered keys with a mysterious atmosphere. Another recent release is from Lebanon-based artist Kryoscope and a track called 'For Those We Love' taken from a new EP entitled 'Through the Flames'. The track includes a combination of swirling atmospherics, coupled with gently played phrases and some ghostly pads to provide background support. There's a lot of other great tracks to listen to on this week's program. Until next time. Bye now.
