I am practicing on the sacred and unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I pledge my ongoing support and accountability in taking space on this land, and in committing to life-long reparation and transformation for the conditions that continue to systemically oppress First Nations people, and all that have been left behind by these violent and disrespectful systems. I refuse to turn a blind eye to these injustices, and I demand to spend time in self-criticality, accountability, and acknowledgement of positionality.  This mix starts in Russia, 1999. It coasts through Western Australia, India, South Africa, Brazil, Pakistan, California, Tunisia, France, Canada, and Japan. Through ballooning synth pads, chorals, afro-brazillian guitar, qawwali-jazz fusion, acoustic slide-guitar, and electro-sci-fi. All bearing proudly different genres, times, places, spaces, cultures, languages, instruments, and context. Through this 60 minutes I hope they all build for you an orchestrative harmony of artistic practice. I hope they all send shivers down your spine, and I hope they foster a deep appreciation for the love of sound, and a love and commitment to dissolving barriers of space, place, time, and genre.
