In 2018 I discovered (and subsequently bought) a lot of music, both new and old. I spent a lot of time with UKG-related tunes, here represented by the D Base and Peverelist cuts. Another sound that grabbed my attention was tech house: see Desert Sound Colony, CSM and Beta Librae. A highlight was Bake playing 'Tail Lift' and 'Cleo' in a ship in Amsterdam. Finally, I was drawn to records that use breaks in a cool way, such as Roza Terenzi & DJ Zozi's amazing AMAZING release, 'Bone Sucka' and of course the tear-inducing floater Overmono just put out last week. I also thought it'd be nice to rank them roughly by colour of the sleeve. Groetjes :)
