With some downtime on my hands I decided to start a mix series of my own that whilst reflecting on electronic centric music takes a step back from 'all-new' promos and releases I'm usually wading through my emails and Bandcamp notifications.

brainworx is an unscheduled mix series primarily because I don't know when I'll put out the next one... no pressure, they will just come as and when. With some themes already in mind I hope they will make for good listening.

This debut is a reflection of introverted sounds swaying through ambient, downtempo and a light peppering of electronica moments in the form of broken beat and IDM. For those that listen to my regular slot on RTM.fm this will mostly be a walk in the park of familiarity, yet with a more gentle approach overall.

Massive shouts to Hong Kong Community Radio for hosting the transmissions - it is especially close to me as I have family based there and whilst I have only met them once on a trip, Hong Kong holds a very special place in my heart.
