Transmitting a special broadcast to celebrate 2-years of doing this show! - Stream Show

Whilst I may still be somewhat new to the family, this month sees festivities to mark the 2-year anniversary of hosting the show - for those new here, I was previously on Balamii...

As this show was planned ahead of my Balamii departure I still decided to run with it - because why not!

Hosting 4-artists that I admire, I gave them each 30-minutes to bring their own take on music and sounds. I have attached a track from each artist for you to dive into their Bandcamps.

First up we have a live session from London-based flywheel (aka Finn Page).
As a fellow RTM resident they introduced me to the station and got me involved here - so big ups mate! I have featured flywheel's music in various guest mixes of mine and this session is the perfect showcase of what they are all about.

Second is another live session from Tokyo-based JEMAPUR.
I have been following their music for a while now. They have a great selection of self-releases as well as an LP released on Omen Wapta last year, which I highly recommend! JEMAPUR mentioned to be this is a new phase in their sound journey and whilst it may feel different from previous works, it certainly still encapsulates the mixture of deep headphone listening to wider sound system ranges.

As we move into the second hour of the show, we head into the guest mixes.

Coming in first here is Northern UK producer SDEM.
With releases on the likes of CPU, Opal Tapes, Seagrave & SUPERPANG - this mix sees them navigate through the various communities they are akin to. For further mixes, I highly recommend checking out the broadcasts that SDEM has featured on a bunch of times.

Closing the show is Ariadne's Labyrinth, a London-based DJ / Radio Host & electronic music producer who is also classically trained in piano and violin. Her musicianship is reflected in her experimental music which swings towards the sides of early Warp and Rephlex, which can be heard in her latest self-release Ridiom. The braindance sentiment from her productions is matched in this high octane mix - what a way to finish!

Massive shouts to all the artists for making this one a special broadcast :)

Catch you next month...
