RTM.fm - Stream Show

Unfortunately the guest I had lined up for this month fell into some delays, partly involving a hurricane - thankfully they are okay and we will be getting to hear their mix on a future show, so no spoilers yet as to who it is...

With an additional hour to myself this month (the first time since January 2021!), instead of self indulging in more releases and music sent to me, I felt it necessary and important to step out of the shows usual echo chamber and take a moment to reflect on the global surroundings.

Showing solidarity with my friends and artists I have connected with from Iran & Ukraine I go through a selection of producers and sound artists who are culturally rooted or still living in these places that are currently going through viscious atrocities.

There has been much support online, but we must keep this momentum going.
These are moments we simply can not just move along from!

They post a lot of content that never hits the mainstream news of stories, images and video from people on the ground across the world. Not just specific to Iran and Ukraine - this is global reporting.
