Portland, OR is a music town, but it feels like Hip-Hop, R&B, and sample-based music flies under the radar of too many local music lovers. Here's a list of winter releases that I've recently purchased and enjoyed, or releases that are on my list of things to buy on Bandcamp Friday, when the artist receives 100% of the sales. In my opinion, it's our obligation as local music fans to support artists that are facing dried up revenue streams from COVID, and the best way to do that is to buy music directly from them!
