From James: "This mix covers quite a range of styles, from challenging to pleasant, mostly instrumental, but with a few songs to add variety. It is almost entirely Canadian or connected, with only one from "outside", and includes many personal friends."

James Bailey is an improvising soundmaker and radio host (Electric Sense) at CIUT-FM in Toronto. He has been involved in the creative music scene here for several decades, in various capacities. He is honoured to have been asked to curate this playlist for the Music Gallery, an institution he has been attending since its earliest days.
