Our next #NMchart comes from Bass Toast, One of the guys behind Cosmic Breeze Records. Always smiling which reflects itself in his DJ sets delivering pure and soulful house with influences from places where the sun always shines. “In my childhood, my mother used to play Atjazz CDs at home as well as Brazilian percussive jams and Afro Mystik, which is still one of my favourite things out there. It was the proper whimsical jams that really captivated me.”

His ambition in life is to find a nice and smooth journey and to contribute to the local scene in any possible way. “My wish is to promote upcoming artists and collectives, work on my label and play for an audience driven by the underground culture. The first thing I’m searching for is respect as a human, as a selector, and as a producer. The Loud Minority is a community of people with basic principles that teach you and are driven by real stories. Sometimes we underestimate the power of these people.”

When talking about his influences the biggest influence which comes in front is life itself. “We are all sums of our experiences, so what I make comes directly from everything I was exposed to in life.”
