The Oram Awards is a platform for innovation in sound, music and related technologies. Elevating the work and voices of Women, Trans, Non-Binary and Gender Diverse music creators. Named after one of the founding directors of the original Radiophonic Workshop, Daphne Oram was a radical electronic composer, engineer and thinker working in a male-dominated world that often undermined and overshadowed her success. Launched in 2017, the Oram Awards aims to build on her legacy - empowering and championing underrepresented talent from all backgrounds.
