All of these records touched me in different ways and at different times throughout 2019. These probably aren't the 'best' and maybe not even my 'favourite' records of 2018... I know by now that I probably haven't even heard my favourite record of 2018 yet, and that months or even years are needed to really understand what music stuck with me the most. But these have been the soundtrack to my year. You are what you eat, and I am what I listen to. Contemplative, introspective, joyous, romantic, hopeful, meditative, explosive, strange... But all beautiful. They're records that I associate with people, with places, and above all with moments from 2019. Happy listening.
