2018 would be the year when Georgian underground community was able to success against the conservative forces trying to battle the electronic music movement - Bassiani, one of the most important venues in town, if not world-wide, that was closed after the raids and their license revoked, was allowed to re-open, showing the world how important solidarity in the underground music community is and how powerful it can be. Because the electronic music community is much more than just a bunch of kids dancing to techno - it’s a large scale social movement, standing for the freedom of expression and progressive, international values.
