These are the best records that I have bought and loved this year so far, I included only one release from each label. This is a list of recomendations from me to you; so that you can build your own beautiful library of music.

Paul Traemer's Offworld EP  - First off is Russian downtempo label (and restaurant!) Leveldva who coined the term "chillrave" with Paul Traemer's Offworld EP. Leveldva has been consistently at the forefront with some of the best music of the underground slow rave scene, and this record delivers in every aspect that you would expect from them.

Animals of the Earth vol​.​2 (V​.​A) - I could say Animals of the Earth vol. 1 & 2 if I could fit it in the list, both VA compilations are from this year and they are both incredible, but the second edition of this animal-themed release by Canadian label Cosmovision Records just came out, and nearing 30 tracks for this "pay as much as you want" album is a record that you will love to love and which will take you on fantastic journeys through nature.

VA​.​1 by Lassi International - Another beautiful VA to come out was LASSI INTL's debut release for Buenos Aires DJ and producer Sidirum's new label. The record has a strong and wide sonic palette with a very personal mood that lingers on after each listen. The artists in this album, Regina by Dvnielreally showcase their individual sounds in very iconic ways. One listen should be enough to turn anyone into a Lassi fan.

Regina by Dvniel - This release by young chilango producer Dvniel in collaboration with the tico label Random Collective Records really brings home the slow precolombine downtempo beat. With this one, you'll find yourself getting deep the rich cultural Mexican landscapes.

Magnetic Levitation EP by kalupke from Cologne to Brazil and to the world, this two song record is a joy wherever you might be.

Master by Kusht - is a great testament to Scottish producer's Kusht tight grip on his owns sound and his great songwriting abilities. Every song in this album is a great vibe that expands on Kusht's sonic multiverse. 

Down Into Light EP by Lee Jones - And no list would be complete without a record coming out of the Berlinese scene. Though Lee Jones is a different type of musician; his personal reaction to the 2020 quarantine experience is a combination of IDM, ambient, and dance music that is great for a cold day huddled up inside. The perfect music to work to, this album is a great portrait of what Lee Jones can write.

OF COURSE, THERE ARE MORE GREAT RECORDS THAT CAME OUT THIS YEAR, THIS LIST IS JUST A HIGHLIGHT OF MY PERSONAL CRATE DIGGING.
