Mahoraga Session Spring 2026

Artist Residence at Orga House

A residency-based gathering for deep listening, experimental sound, and expanded perception, held at Orga House in the historic coastal town of Tsuyazaki, Fukuoka, Japan.
Across several days, international and local artists inhabit the space through live performances, open sessions, spatial interventions, and informal exchanges. Moving fluidly between ambient music, leftfield electronics, improvisation, and abstract rhythmic forms, the program unfolds as an evolving process rather than a fixed-format event. Set inside an over 100-year-old wooden house near the sea, Orga House functions simultaneously as a listening space, guesthouse, and temporary cultural laboratory. Sound interacts with architecture, memory, environment, and the slower temporal atmosphere of the port town itself. Rather than separating audience and artist, Mahoraga Session invites participants to share time and space together — listening, staying, drifting, and experiencing sound as a collective condition. Spring 2026 features Kuthi Jin (CLAM Pressure) from Italy and Dilian (International Winners) from NYC / Brussels.
