The 10th installment of the SLR Podcast is brought to you by Richard Pike - solo artist, producer, and head of the excellent London based Salmon Universe label. The mix is a sublime 60 minutes of pulsating and detailed leftfield tracks. 2021 has been a busy year for Richard. As well putting out a slew of releases on the label, he also released his own solo album, 'How to Breathe', in July, which was met with some glowing reviews, and has penned the soundtrack to a new TV series 'Australian Gangster', which was released recently by the Spun Out of Control label. "To celebrate the release of my recent albums (How To Breathe and also the soundtrack to Australian Gangster) I have done a mix for friends at Sine Language records.  I wanted to find a thread with music I was influenced by when writing How To Breathe, which started about 10 years ago. But I found this impossible. My taste and outlook has changed so much in that time, as anyone’s would. I’m checking out a lot of techno and experimental atm so decided to follow that impulse. Fast. Upbeat. Weird. It's a live mix too, so some raw moments too, which I love."
