While the talent, energy, labour and culture of black people is ever present in music, current events remind us that institutional racism has funnelled the profits of this legacy out of their hands. In solidarity with Black Lives Matter here we compile a buyers list of some of our most loved oft overlooked black musicians and their music in a small effort to challenge this erasure in our community and stand against racism with more than just words, by supporting black artists. Let's put our money where our mouth is.
