Since 2003, the Ekko Festival has wandered through church halls, galleries, clubs, mountains, and bunkers – always in search of new spaces, new expressions, new sounds. Whether large or small, the festival has always been a living experiment – closely tied to the city, its people, and the present moment.

For its 22nd edition — EKKO XXII — the festival will once again take over the city with concerts, installations, and club nights, offering a rich cross-section of experimental contemporary music. Spanning electronic, acoustic, improvised, installative, and club-focused sound, this year’s programme continues our commitment to genre-defying expression.

This year’s edition builds on that foundation: an ideological project where experimental and electronic music meets sound art, installations, club culture, and conversations. A place where established names stand side by side with new projects, and where audiences are invited into a world of cross-genre encounters, musical roots, and future directions.

Ekko XXII is about listening, breathing, and sharing space – with artists, with the city, with each other.
